Team Vampire Sweden:
Team Vampire Sweden operates the De havilland Vampire aircraft. The Vampire aircraft was in service in the Swedish Airforce 1946-1968. Our aircraft has the Swedish Airforce colour and markings. In Sweden it occurred in five versions. The Swedish name was J28 Vampire.
History:
The Vampire aircraft was constructed in England in the beginning of 1940. The first prototype was called "Spider Crab". It flew the first time in 1943.
Airshows:
We participate in airshows in Nothern Europe with these aircraft. We make displays with single aircraft and also two aircraft in pair. We also show the aircraft on ground. The Vampire is a very nice aircraft to look at in the air. It also has a very specially, historical engine sound. It sounds like a whistle.
